Terms and Conditions
TICKET SALES
All tickets are sold subject to Terms and Conditions. All riders must complete a Membership Application, Release and Indemnity Form before purchasing tickets. Tickets are valid for the date of purchase only, supplied on a per person basis and are not transferable.
Please Note: Dual, Rookie, Formula kart sessions & amusements close at 5pm daily.
DRESS STANDARDS
All riders must wear enclosed protective footwear and protective clothing is recommended. Some loan shoes of limited sizes are available at the counter.
WHAT IS A RACE SESSION?
Dual & Rookie kart sessions are 3 minutes in duration. Formula & Predator kart sessions are 6 minutes in duration. Schumacher kart sessions are 10 minutes in duration.
RIDE PROGRAMS
The operation of tracks, karts and amusements may differ to publicised times due to weather, maintenance schedules safety inspections or other reasons. Riders, please note that during extremely busy periods some delays will occur.
RIDE REQUIREMENTS
Restrictions such as height, weight and/or physical ability apply to some go karts and amusements. You accept the risks of taking part in those activities and should make your own assessment of those risks before doing so. All safety signs must be obeyed.
REFUNDS
Tickets will not be refunded under any circumstances. Ride replacement vouchers may be offered in the case of inclement weather at the discretion of management.
HEALTH WARNING
Because of the extreme forces and excitement created by go karting and amusements, riders should be in good health and free from any physical limitations or medical conditions, including but not limited to neck weakness, back weakness, recent surgery, broken bones, heart conditions, nervous disorders, motion sickness and epilepsy. Management recommends that pregnant women should not ride the go karts and amusements. It is the responsibility of the supervising carer or guardian of anyone with a physical or intellectual impairment to notify Kingston Park Raceway in writing of such impairment. For safety reasons, people with an impairment will not be permitted to participate in any Kingston Park Raceway Sprint or Enduro race events. Kart racing can be dangerous and serious injury may occur. Other riders may be of limited skill and ability. All riders must accept the risks associated with racing in mixed groups and must obey all instructions from track marshals.
NO GLASS POLICY
As a safety precaution, Kingston Park Raceway has a "NO GLASS" policy. When you enter the complex you must hand in to Kingston Park Raceway any glass containers in your possession. Those containers will be returned to you at your request when you exit the complex. Containers which are not collected within 7 days will be treated as abandoned and Kingston Park Raceway has the right to dispose of them.
CODE OF CONDUCT
All riders must observe the marshals' instructions and behave in a sensible and appropriate manner whilst on and off the rides. No foul language or abusive behaviour will be tolerated and offenders may be asked to leave. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or whose behaviour is considered unacceptable. All riders must have a zero blood alcohol reading.
SLIP, SLOP, SLAP, SEEK, SLIDE
Slip on a shirt, slop on sun screen, slap on a hat, seek shade and slide on sunnies. This is good advice for all visitors to the park. Management also suggests that you drink lots of water whilst enjoying your day at the raceway.
TRADING TERMS
Minimum Drivers
Enduro - Determined by track time
Sprint - Min. 10 Drivers - 20 drivers required for a private booking
Adult Party - 5 drivers
Children's Party - 5 drivers
Minimum age for Sprint and Enduro race events is 16 years of age
- A 25% deposit is required to secure the event 3 days following your tentative booking.
- Sprint and Enduro events require full payment 7 days prior to the event.
- Cheques will only be accepted 14 days prior to the event date. Under no circumstances will cheques be accepted on the day of the event.
- Cash, credit card and money orders will be accepted 7 days prior to the event date.
- Arrangements for the race event including number of drivers, trophies and catering all need to be finalised and confirmed in writing 7 days prior to the event date.
- Once an event is confirmed and a prepayment made there will be no refunds given, however Kingston Park Raceway can reschedule an event provided notice is given at least 7 days in advance.
- No refund will be given for any decrease in the number of drivers or other alterations as per the invoice, if made less than 7 days prior to the event.
- No refund will be given should you cancel within 7 days prior to the event. In such an event the client accepts that all prepayment will be forfeited.
- Please make sure that all drivers arrive at Kingston Park Raceway 45 minutes prior to your event. Late arrivals will result in your event being shortened without refund.
- Amusement rides are open on weekends, school and public holidays only, from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Indy Track closes at 5:00pm daily.
Rescheduled Events Policy
- Any event rescheduled by the client less than 7 days prior to the event, will incur a 100% loss of event prepayment.
- In the event of inclement weather, it is at the discretion of Kingston Park Raceway management to continue or abort the race event / party. Drivers will be permitted to continue if the precipitation is light and intermittent but where constant rain falls, a decision to abort the event will be made by Kingston Park Raceway management. If the decision is to halt racing for the day, the event will be rescheduled to a date that is convenient for the client and should the race have already started prior to rain falling and then aborted, the rescheduled event will resume from that point.
- No Refunds will be issued due to rain-outs.
- All rescheduled events must be completed within 6 months of the original event date. Event payment will be forfeited after that date.
- Catering at rain affected events - In the event that Kingston Park Raceway aborts the race event, there will be no refund, however the catering will be rescheduled to the new event date.
- Trophies - All trophies pre-engraved with the event date will incur a $12.00 fee for correction to reflect the rescheduled event date.
