Welcome one and all to KPR'S FNC results.

Once again back for the final round of this series, there were quite a few upsets to say the least. It's getting to be rather challenging over the last few weeks, everyone shooting for the round win. Yes this week it's time for the Breaker Girls to do the honours and hand out the trophies. With racing sorted into two groups consisting of 20 drivers and the other having 18 drivers, this would be a struggle to shoot for a podium tonight.

Group A Results

Yes with Group A this week coming you will see a few regular faces from Group B climbing the ranks to try their luck.

Hmmm wonder how this will be for them, go gentle on me "Shotgun". Sorry folks for those of you just reading the results, pan back a few weeks for a little insight to a few of our regular drivers and history. Lets get to the points and race details.

Group A Practice

With practice being a full run of karts out on the racetrack, this at times proved a little crowded for some. Tyres were our only casualties, oh and a few bruised egos as well. The race times were a little down from the best, just keeping out of trouble in a pack was quite hard. Let's get the run down and see what happened in Race1.

Group A Race 1

Yes front row sometimes is a lot harder to start on then some may think, with a full field of 18 more drivers right on your backside. On the first row we had Alistair and Scott B, who would triumph and shine through. Setting the fastest lap this time out was Marcel M 53.34sec lap must have had a Ferrari that run. Only jokes perhaps pushed through a short cut. First back to base for the win was Chris T 56.84sec, second past the post was Rocket Rod 57.72sec. Third place and a shot at the crown for the night was Gus "The Saint" Sanson 57.61sec.

Group A Race 2

Well we saw our first upset for the evening this race, with Kara "Lil Miss Naughty" Goddard shooting out of first place from the rolling lap to take it all the way home. Very well done with a bit of training from our Track Supervisor Stacey. Yes Kara I had faith you could have a race win before the other half. With the laps finished and everyone startled by the winner Kara shooting home for a clean win and a PB time of 58.52sec, second place went to Rocket Rod only just missing 1st by 0.10 of a sec to be beaten by a lady. Third home to clean out the podium went to Gus "The Saint" Sanson.

Group A Race 3

Race three would be the final time to improve on your standings for this round, everyone was keen to strut their stuff. First on the grid would be Marcel M , next door to him in second would be Andrew K. With the layout of racing here at KPR this would be a charge from the rear of the field for many, with Chris Tucker shooting for glory from rear of the grid in 20th . First back and all smiles was Rocket Rod 56.50sec, second home and keeping a firm grasp on his position was Brad W with a best lap of 58.53sec.Third for this run would be Simon K who also started in 3rd place and held firm till the end good work.

We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this round, just remember for the winners come the spoils. The Breaker Girls will be in to hand out prizes for the top three points scorers, as we saw the prizes were Jim Beam Racing products last time. Mmmm wonder what will be in store for our champions this time.

Group A Final Results

2nd place -Gus "The Saint" Sanson 124pts

3rd place -Chris T  122pts

Best Placed Lady- 5th place -Kara "Little Miss Naughty" G 118pts

Welcome to Group B's results. Which eager beaver would be triumphant? It's very trying at times to make a clear path through the field, when your exploring the boundaries of what the karts are capable of. So here's a little tip just remember there are three races and a practice session to get sorted out. Most of the time whether you place in a top three position, or just mix it with your mates it's all in good fun and in a safe environment. In the practice session just test the boundaries of your braking to achieve better results during the evening.

Group B Results

With some of us very wound up from a week of hard work or uni it's off to racing we go. As the safety briefing is given every round, it is strongly advised to listen carefully for your own safety. With the practice round now upon us lets sit back and see what's in store for our racers.

Group B Practice

Practice saw a few minor bingles with a quick chat here and there to sort out your troubles on track. Remember to adhere to the black flag if it is waved at you, as it may be a problem with your kart not your driving finesse. Top times for the first session were not on all of our racers minds, just staying on track was the preference this time. Ok now that you have bedded in those brakes, and tested one and other to some limits here and there.

Off to Race One

Group B Race 1

Race one saw Russ H and Aaron S shooting for the win from front row, second row had Tom N and Matthew G. With the final turn of the rolling lap upon us it was all full steam ahead to the first gruelling turn. Leading the field home after a few battles midway through the race was Scott "Flukey" Forster 57.64sec, nice work for Scott as he shot from all the way down in 11th at the start. Second home keeping the pack honest was Michael "Shotgun" Forster 58.96sec. Through sheer determination to keep up with Scott Michael shot to the podium from 13th position to claim 3rd place.  Top job "Shotgun".

Group B Race 2

Up front ready was Trevor K on pole, siting beside Trevor would be Scott "Flukey" Forster. Second row was decked out with Jason T and the first of our lady competitors Elisha B. With the pack sorting themselves out over the first few laps, and a few tangles here and there the eventual winner shone through. Again Scott "Flukey" Forster has stirred up his father by taking the elusive race win from his grasp 59.70sec. Second place and aiming to knock Scott from his throne was Jason S, rounding up another 3rd placing and hungry for a win was Michael "Shotgun" Forster. Two from two Scott maybe Michael has the drive to knock you from getting a clean round.

Group B Race 3

Well it all hinges on the final run to home. With "Shotgun" Forster on pole this would be one to watch, having to share the front row was Donny M. Just watching the duels had by father and son was good for the spectators. The field had quite a few near misses to say the least eventually we had our winner. First place going to Scott "Flukey" Forster a clean sweep of the round and a 57.79sec lap. Second and just pipped at the post was "Shotgun" 58.08sec, 3rd place was held by David J 59.15sec and raced all the way from 16th position. Nice work to all who competed hope to see you next week.
