It’s That Time of Year…
We have all heard that this is EOFYS time and we certainly have seen a lot of companies starting to come back through the gates with special days for rewards and incentives to end the financial year. During the month we had the pleasure of welcoming Vicky Alison and the team from Aero Care of Archerfield who invited 60 drivers in for a Level 1 Enduro. This was their annual pilgrimage to Kingston Park Raceway and our staff are always keen to have them along as they are a great bunch to have fun with.

Enter the next Enduro Challenge
Round 3 begins Thursday 22nd July.
The next round is fast approaching so start getting your teams ready now.Yes, it’s nearly been 2 months since we last saw each other, so that means there is only a few weeks left till Round 3 of our Challenge!
Now, we are always making improvements and to start with, we are keeping everyone informed with a schedule for the big night. So here is a quick reminder to those who haven’t yet sent in their team details or paid, please get those details through to me ASAP!!
This event is a Level 1 Enduro for up to 80 drivers, which will be approximately 20 teams of 4 drivers. It is important to remember that drivers must be aged 16 years or over and wearing covered shoes. We would also encourage any new drivers to register online at www.rocliveweb.com/kpr
And remember GO Hard, Go Fast and if you want to rev up your mates in 2010....... GO KARTING
Klaytons Karters
Peter Karlsen and the boys returned for round 3 of their 6 round challenge series during the month of June. The event was level 1 sprint with 25 drivers fronting the grid for race 1. We saw lots of movers in lap one and a little too much aggressive driving that resulted so many black flags that we had to replace the marshal due to a tired shoulder. It took a quick chat and we were back for race 2 and this time we saw a much more disciplined race with some great driving from the boys. Congratulations to the winners 1st Rod Robertson 192pts, 2nd Peter Karlsen 174pts, 3rd Robert Clark 170pts. We look forward to seeing you guys back soon.
Sponsors Challenge 2010
The engines are revving and the contest is tight at the pointy end of the field.
Next round will be Thursday 17th August 2010 and there are still two spots available in the series. To enable all competitors time to arrive the racing won’t start till 7.00 pm at night and we will be providing a light supper at around 6:30 pm free of charge to all drivers. Arrival at 6.00 pm. These are great evenings and loads of funs for all that compete in the races, so if you want to entertain your customers or staff and collect some eye catching advertising opportunities email Terry at terry@kingstonpark.com.au to discuss the various sponsor options.
The boys from Peer are managing to hold on to a slender lead over the hard charging Dulux racing crew but we are only half way and as the series continues so too will the battle at the front. Current leaders are Peer on 1178 points, Dulux on 1032 points and Honda with 998 points

Friday Night Challenge
Awesome racing and capacity fields
The grids have been full and the racing hard and fast over the last few weeks. Our regular Group drivers have been challenged week after week and we are seeing exceptional race times due to the competition. The trend towards companies joining in on the night has continued and we now regularly see full grids. Pro Club members you can register during the week to avoid the line up on the night and we have the priority window at the canteen for all members who have their card with them on the night. What a fantastic night and a great end to a competitive June FNC. Joke of the Month
Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.
Well, for example, the other day my wife and I went into town and went into a shop.
We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.
We went up to him and said, 'Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?'
He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him an officious turd. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tyres. So my wife called him a d#*k- head. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.
Personally, we didn't care. We came into town by bus. We try to have a little fun each day now that we are retired. It's important at our age.
