Welcome one and all to KPR's FNC results.
There were two groups of racers lined up for this week. Everyone was keen to kick the night off.
Group A was first to kick off practice with a hurried pace, lap times were varied but all had a ball trying to better one another. Quickest lap time went to Rocket Rod with 57.665. Race 1 proved just as close and furious.. Coming into turn one all racers were nose to tail but everyone escaped unscathed. Race 2 had Dave Faulkiner starting 11th but finishing in a consistant 3rd position with a best lap time of 59.34.
The Final race proved rough with the top four racers all within two seconds of each other.
Group A results
1st place - Rocket Rod 150pts
2nd place - Dave Faulkiner 138 pts
3rd place - Dylan Hampson 126 pts
Group B had their turn next, Daniel Mcphearson was out front with a lap time of 1:00.95 in practice. Race 1 saw rubber flying on turn 1 again but still had the top four drivers best lap times within a second of each other. In race 2 first place and fastest lap time was taken out by Daniel McPherson again with 59.66 showing improvement. Condolences go out to Todd Hastethorpe whom obviously got into a small accident during the race, returning to the pits in last place after starting in first place. (Better luck next week). Race 3 saw Blake Palmer keep a clean set of heels and staying out of trouble, holding his firm position of second place.
There was obviously a touch of rivalry between the two family members Luke and Sam Bain, Luke starting in eighth position and Sam kicking back in tenth.
Sam finished up with the outright win for race three..
Group B results
1st place -Daniel Mcphearson 140pts
2nd place - Blake Palmer 138 pts
3rd place - Sam Bain 126 pts
And to most peoples surprise our top 6 drivers in Group B were all separated by two points each at the pointy end of the night.. Well done!..
